Get Lippie Tuesday

Okay, no more teasing! It’s time to reveal my current lippie fave!

It's Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balm, P495.

It’s the Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balm, P495.

Like I mentioned in this post, it’s nothing fancy. In fact, it’ll probably be easy to walk away from it if you see it on the counter. But what it lacks in packaging, it makes up for in versatility. Don’t underestimate this lippie—it can quite pack a punch if you want it to. Depending on how many layers you slick on, this tube can be used it to add a hint of color, a tint of gloss, or a bright pop on your lips.

One swipe at the bottom, two in the middle, and at least three on top.

When you glide it on, it has the feel and scent of a jelly balm (think: your favorite scented one from when you were a kid). It’s feels comfortable on your lips, is very moisturizing, and smoothens any flakes. What I really like about it is that you can build the color, so your lips can go from naturally pink to bubble gum-inspired.

I’m going for bubble gum pop, of course! The shade I’m using: voluptuous pink.

There are six colors to choose from from camels to poppy corals, but I like this one the best. It looks natural on my lips if I just use one swipe, has a nice sheen without looking too glossy, and it just really feels good on my lips. This non-fancy lippie is now a staple in my kit (I’ve been using it to prep my pout in lieu of actual balm!) and I’ll definitely check out the other shades when the next time I hit the department stores. Tip: If you apply a thicker layer, the color will last throughout the day and fades evenly. I’m lazy to retouch, so I like this aspect the best!

Think you’ll check this lippie out? Leave a comment and let me know! ♥
