Guess what was trending at this year’s VMAs?
Have you found your perfect nude yet? I really like this one, but if you’re looking something a little more luxe, I found a super sexy shade for you!
At first I thought it was a bit dark, but it actually has rosy undertones that flatter your lips.
The wand picks up a lot of product and it’s flat in shape—kinda like a paddle. Despite this, it’s super flexible and allows you to paint your lips with precision.
I think it’s the finish that I like the best. It has the right amount of shine, so it’s sophisticated and sexy.
Here’s a look at the products I used:
I love highlighting, so this is a great way to accentuate your cheekbones. It has a soft, rose gold finish that looks absolute beautiful on all skintones (Pinays especially!). I like that the shimmer particles aren’t too big, so you get a more pearlized and natural finish. You can even apply it with your fingers, too!
Use it carefully and sparingly. You don’t want to squeeze too much out of the tube and waste the product. It gives your skin a matte, photo-ready finish, so it’s nice to pair with a good highlighter. This way, your skin won’t look too shiny.
It’s a very chill palette that uses matte, sateen color finishes. It’s nothing OTT or nude—it’s just simple washes that are great for days when you want to be a little more relaxed, laid-back, and a little more playful. I heart the blushes, but the green shades seem a bit tricky. I’ll have to swatch them and see! If you want a separate post about this palette, leave a comment and let me know!
