Guys! I finally got my glow back—and I think it’s even better than before!
Organic?? Can you believe it?? I swore off organic products for my face years ago when switching to VCO caused a horrible cycle of cystic acne (I used it for a year to no avail). So when I decided to try this organic line, I was wary, scared, and doubtful. But guess what? It obviously worked, and now, I’m hooked!
I decided to use it because I wanted to simplify my skin routine and stick to just using one brand for a loooong time. Since this came as a set, I decided to get over my “organic” skincare doubts and go for it. After the third night, the results were amazing!
The Neal’s Yard Remedies Beauty Sleep Concentrate is a lightweight serum that has smoothing tripeptide and essential oils. Basically, these ingredients help your skin rejuvenate while it sleep so you wake up with a gorgeous glow! And yup, my photo above is proof that it really works.
I don’t know about you guys, but that ratio is good enough for me—especially since it delivers such fast results. Although it’s a serum, the product is actually more cream-like in consistency. I need about 2-3 pumps for my face and neck (because the pump I got is kinda defective). Moisture-wise, you’ll notice a slow and steady improvement, but radiance-wise, I began to see it on Days 2 and 3. You just need to spend a little more time massaging it into your skin, but once it’s absorbed, you’ll forget it’s there. There’s no greasy residue on my skin in the morning (win!), so I know it’s getting absorbed. I really fall in love with it more and more whenever I use it!
I don’t usually apply eye cream during the day, since it’s too thick and it’ll make my makeup goopy. But this gel gets absorbed quickly and is safe enough to use under my eyeshadow and a light layer of concealer. It soothes the skin around my eye and has antioxidant white tea to help prevent wrinkles. As for puffiness? It doesn’t really get rid of it. But I like that the area around my eyes don’t seem as dry anymore now that I’m using this during the day (note: I still use a more potent eye cream at night though).
Since it’s 100% organic, you’ll see at the bottom that it only lasts 3 months! That means that if you’re going to invest in this, you should use it every single day. Otherwise, it might expire before you get to finish the bottle.
After the third day I used it, I really notice a change. My skin was glowing and looking fresh even though I was running on 3-4 hours of sleep only. Not only that, but the boyFrench even noticed my skin’s glow over Skype. Haha, so I know that I’m not imagining that my complexion got better. But I gotta say, I think it’s also working extremely well because I started with this “Deep Cleansing” skin technique that I learned from a Korean brand. It really got my skin back on track and helped me fight how dry my complexion was.
