My New Favorite Blush!

It’s such a pretty compact, guys!

Can you guess what type of product this is based on the packaging?

What about the brand? There's a clue on the compact—it says Maquillage ;)

I know, I know. I’m getting carried away with the packaging. But before I tell you what the brand is, let’s take a look at what’s inside first!

Sigh. Such perfect little combos of peach and pink tones.

Sigh. This flush enhancer really has pretty combos of peach and pink tones.

And look! It even made sleepy-eyed me look a lot more fresh! #Yasssss

So…Do you like it yet? Haha, okay, I won’t tease you anymore! The Dramatic Mood Veil Blush is actually from Shiseido’s Maquillage line (P2,200). It has five fab colors and light to put your skin in the “mood zone,” which basically means that it’ll give your skin a rosy, attractive, youthful, and soft glow.

And there are tons of ways you can apply it, too!

Now don’t panic—you don’t have to follow the instruction perfectly. I just swirled my blush brush over all the colors and applied it over my cheeks. Then, I used the lightest pink on the upper left to highlight my cheekbones.

Photo's a little foggier, but I wanted to show you what it looked like in natural light.

I really like how creamy it looked even though it was a powder blush. It zapped the oil on my cheeks without removing the dewy effect that I wanted. That’s probably why it’s my new favorite! Hehe!

Take a look at that brush! Pretty unique, huh?

You can use the dome-shaped sponge to apply specific colors on your cheeks with more precision. If you tap the color in place, you can create a nice graduation effect with the various shades. But that’s too much effort for me!

Here's a closer look! I mostly use so I can highlight with more precision or to help blend splotchy spots away.

Color- and finish-wise, this blush is perfect! I just wish its lasting power was a little bit better. You’ll need to retouch throughout the day (so good thing the brush fits in the compact), but you’ll be good for at least 4 to 5 hours. And speaking of the compact, it is a bit bulky to tote around. But…it’ll be worth it though when everyone oohs and aahs when you whip it out.

What do you think of the Shiseido Maquillage Dramatic Mood Veil Blush? Yay or nay? ♥
