You guys! I just learned this super cool trick from Jane Iredale’s global educator, Shawn Towne.
Pretty cool, right? It works super well when you’re defining the upper part of your eyebrows. This part is always challenging for me, because sometimes, you just end up making your brows thicker when your initial line isn’t drawn on straight. With the credit card as a guide, you get a precise line from the get-go.
I feel like Jane Iredale is a brand that’s underestimated sometimes. It may not be as trendy or cool, but it’s real and they develop their products with integrity (that’s probably why I like it). The brand’s makeup philosophy focuses on bringing out your best features naturally. But what I find most impressive about it: it’s a clean brand that delivers. They use real mineral makeup, natural preservatives, and less chemicals in their products and some are even vegan.
The eyebrow powder is the perfect shade for Pinays and the tiny brush in the compact actually works well! You can also layer the color for a more powerful brow (like in the photo above) or soften it up for a more date-friendly look (like in the photo below). It comes with a wax, but I haven’t tried it yet! P.S. Who uses brow wax? Tips, please!
I gotta say, the Jane Iredale products made this look super effortless and easy to do. The bronzer I used on my cheeks is super natural and it just gives you a healthy, warm flush (it also kept my skin very matte during the day). As for the lipstick? I don’t leave home without it! Aside from the #MLBB color it leaves on my lips, it smells (and kinda tastes) delicious—like sweet and tangy berries. I actually don’t mind that it’s not super long-lasting, because it means I can enjoy the berry flavor whenever I reapply. Hehe!
What do you think of this #FOTD? And the fab brow tip? Leave a comment and let me know! ♥
