During the last quarter of 2015, I had a lot of trouble sleeping. I was going to bed at like 2 a.m. and waking up at 8 a.m. Needless to say, it was horrible and my undereye area was definitely suffering.
Prior to using this, I was loyal to these two eye creams (see them here and here). Unfortunately, I noticed that the Estée Lauder one I was using had reached its peak and that it wasn’t doing anything for my skin anymore. So I made the switch!
I used the Laneige Eye Serum without knowing anything about it. I put my faith in the integrity of Korean beauty products and figured that their eye concerns are probably similar to mine (drooping and sagging and lines were main issues). And here’s what I noticed: my dark circles lightened, I started to look like I slept better, and the sunken look where my deeper lines were plumped up. I’m super impressed—especially since I saw results in just one month and would only use this at night.
Now that I’m writing an official review, I researched a bit about the product. The magic ingredient is Kelp extract, which helps protect the eye contour from damage. It’s also clinically-proven to lighten dark eye circles (check!), alleviate drooping eyes (check!), reduce wrinkles (check!), and can turn the clock back by 300 days (I hope it’s a check!). All I know is that I would really recommend this to those looking for a solution to dark circles—especially since I saw the results and didn’t even know it was supposed to help lighten them.
I’m going to try the Laneige Intensive Cream next (I’m currently using this night cream from Perricone). There’s also a nice BB Cushion, which I wish I could use! But because BB creams make me breakout, I made my sister try it. She said she likes the way it gives her skin a nice, even glow and her skin stayed clear—no reactions whatsoever! Ugh, I’m so jealous! I really wish I could use BBs! :p
Anywaaay, if you guys want a more detailed review of the other products from the Laneige Time Freeze line, leave a comment and let me know! ♥
