Review: Perricone MD “No Makeup” Makeup Line

I am obsessed with everything from Perricone MD. Their skincare delivers fantastic results (even though it may not smell so good—read about it here), and now, their “no makeup” makeup line is becoming something I constantly use.

These have earned a spot on my vanity table and in my travel kit!

These have earned a spot on my vanity table and in my travel kit!

My ultimate favorite will always be Perricone MD’s No Foundation Serum (find out why here!). If you’re just starting out and want to invest, this one’s a must. But if you’re already hooked and want to explore more from the line, here’s what I have to say about these three products.

1. Perricone MD No Highlighter Highlighter. If you hate highlighter finishes that are glittery, cakey, or shimmery, then this one is for you. I can’t get enough of this! It’s subtle enough that you can mix it with your foundation (or moisturizer!). And you can layer it over your cheekbones and nose for an ethereal glow. I wear whenever my skin needs a little pick-me-up (like when I’m stressed or lack sleep) and nobody tells me I look tired! Ha!

2. Perricone MD No Blush Blush. This was a bit trickier to use for me. I think it’s just a personal preference since applying powder blush is way faster. That aside, I do like that it has SPF30 (the sun tends to hits your cheeks first, so the added UV protection is awesome). When you use this, shake the bottle well because the pigment separates and just pat it over your cheeks before you blend. It suits practically all skintones + looks super natural!

3. Perricone MD No Eyeshadow Eyeshadow. Well, well, well. This was a surprise! I never thought that this would be just what I need. There are times when I want to brighten my lids without having to pile on the eyeshadow, so I’ve been using this for days when I need to look effortlessly put-together. The light-reflecting pigment will really give you fresher-looking eyes and I like that it also does double-duty as skincare (it’s scientifically-formulated to help firm and tone the appearance of skin).

Smudged! From top to bottom, that's the foundation, blush, then bronzer.

I didn’t get a chance to smudge/swatch the highlighter and the eyeshadow yet. If you want to see what it looks like and see what the “no makeup” makeup line looks like on me, leave me a comment and I’ll update this post! ♥
