It’s not uncommon for a modern woman to work, cook dinner, be the beautiful and charming date at her SO’s work event, and even be a mom. And I’m just grazing the basic roles here, so yeah, it can be a lot to handle.
“We talked about what we’re good at and what we’re poor at and realized we can help each other out,” says Frances. And when the trio realized that other women needed help too, they created a venue where like-minded gals can get together and form a tribe where they can share stories, swap business contacts, and help build each other up.
During the Beauty Biz Bliss launch-slash-gathering, we were asked to share a bit about ourselves and what we do—and maaaaan—I was in shock. Women are multi-hyphenates now and work hard to chase all their passions. It made me realize that there’s this desire to “do everything”—like have the dream job, create online success, and have the family to come home to.
So if you have a business that you’re trying to grow, want to learn more about creating a marketing plan, or just need to figure out what you’re passionate about, here are three reasons I think you’d be interested in joining the BeautyBizBliss.com community:
Reason #1: They encourage collaboration, not competition.
Based on what Frances said, women are encouraged to share their strengths and weaknesses. If you need more help on the business side, members will have access to excel spreads (which according to Martine, they will eventually provide on the site) that can help you create a more feasible plan for your start-up. You’ll also find the support and encouragement you need because you’ll meet women who are going through the same things that you are (think: they can be your virtual officemates if you work from home).
Reason #2: My lovely friend, Frances, is one of their co-founders!
I adore this girl. She’s one of the reasons I continue to blog and she’s usually the first person I turn to whenever I need advise about my digital life (she’s also the reason I tried blog coaching sessions with Martine when I needed insights about my online visuals). As a friend and former boss, Frances is always very passionate and very generous with her tips and encouragement—and she’ll always tell you the truth. Having her on your team will definitely be a plus because she has loads of love, experience, and helpful advice to give!
3. The fun gatherings!
Beauty Biz Bliss will host fun events (like the one I attended) where women can come together, build connections and network, and attend workshops based on their needs or interests. I also feel like you’ll be able to find some of your closest friends here if you’re open to it. And really, these girls know how to throw a pow-wow party! Make sure you subscribe to their list, so you don’t miss it! Here’s a look at what went down, so you have a better idea:
Fun, right? If you guys want to learn more about BeautyBizBliss.com, make sure you visit their website. You really have to read through it and see if this is something that calls out to you. They’ll be launching their exclusive membership program soon, so if you feel that this is something that can help you, make sure you sign-up for their newsletter so you don’t miss it!
What do you think of the Beauty Biz Bliss and their advocacy? Do you feel like it’s a community you’d like to be a part of? I’d love to hear your thoughts about it! ♥
