It’s finally Friday! One of the things I love doing on weekends is catching up on my favorite series. What are you currently watching? I’m super addicted to Jane The Virgin! I was crushing on Rafael in Season 1, but now, I’m crushing on the guy who plays Rogelio IRL. Haha, don’t judge :p
One of the challenges of staying in is ordering yummy food to binge on (I’m a very picky eater and I have insane cravings). On top of that, ordering delivery for just one person can get challenging—especially if the minimum amount is huge and the wait time is over an hour.
I like that I can shop for food via an app and just add things to my cart—as if I’m online shopping. It means that I won’t have to talk to a (sometimes cranky) rep on the phone or listen to promos being pushed.
It’s a new way of ordering food for the not-so-tech savvy, so I’m going to walk you through the process. Here’s how it goes:
Most of the restaurants are in Makati or BGC, so if you don’t live near these areas, you might be disappointed. But don’t worry—Kanguru is expanding their delivery route, so just keep checking the app for updates. I think they deliver to the south and a few selected areas in Pasig/Kapitolyo now.
When I first ordered, I was a bit discombobulated. It was too easy and I didn’t talk to a single person. I wasn’t sure if my order went through, so I was glad when I got this…
So there! This is my new favorite way to have food delivered. I like that there’s no minimum charge to have anything delivered (you can seriously just order a Diet Coke) and they’ll charge you a small delivery fee for that (P79 to P99, depending on your total). And you can pay via cash, PayPal, or credit card, too! I just hope they add more resto options soon—like Juju Eats and Chatime! For now though, I usually order from Backyard Brew and Señor Pollo.
Where do you usually order your food from? Tell me, tell me! And don’t forget to click here to visit the Kanguru PH website and find out more about their speedy delivery service.
