This soothing gel helps moisturize and soothe sensitive skin. I like that it’s free from toxic ingredients like triethanolamine, artificial dyes, paraben, mineral oil, and benzophenone. That’s super important when your skin is burnt from UV rays, because applying too many chemicals may cause more irritation. You can use it on your face and body, too!

Such a lovely tub of jelly! It feels cool on your skin, but you can pop it in the fridge for more relief!

Initially, I thought I would use this for sunburn emergencies. But since I’m pretty diligent about sunscreen, I had to test it sans UV burns. Here’s what’s surprising: It feels great on normal skin also and you can substitute this for your regular lotion. I like that the scent is light and refreshing. Plus, it also works well to relieve itchy bites (I had some on my arm and the redness went away immediately after application).

The texture of this jelly is practically water-like, since it melts into your skin quickly.

It’s absorbed quickly, but just like real aloe, it can feel a little sticky. I don’t find it bothersome on my skin, just on my fingers and palms when I’m typing away on my keyboard or phone.

The texture of this jelly is practically water-like, since it melts into your skin quickly. I suggest you use a spatula or tiny spoon to scoop out tiny dollops at a time. With the tiny amount in the photo, I was already able to moisturize my entire arm. You only need thin layers of this aloe gel on your skin to get rid of any tightness or itchiness. I’ll be using this a lot over the summer—will just have to make sure I wash my hands after to get rid of the sticky feel.

Will you be using this to soothe sunburn? And what’s your take on gel formulas? Leave a comment and let me know! ♥

  • I have an aloe gel lotion, too. I love to use it nowadays because it makes my skin feel fresh. No sticky feeling. :)

  • Sarah Ramos

Etude has a similar product but is 20 or 30 Pesos pricier and when I checked the etude one, it has wayyyyy less ingredients than the tony moly one. Hmmmm.

  • I have read a lot of reviews on TM Aloe Vera Eco Gel and I am so tempted to get one tub for myself. Good thing payday’s almost here. (^-^)

    • I’m working on non-lotion alternatives to keep your skin moisturized! Stay tuned!
