Sunday Sparkle

My work is picking up and things are even busier this year! As a freelancer, this is always great news. As a blogger, it gets a bit challenging. Sudden projects have to be prioritized over blog posts; relaxing weekends in bed passed up for an afternoon typing away at a coffee shop. This is nothing new. I’ve written about this before. The only difference is, I’m also making sure that I give myself more TLC despite my crazy schedule.

I'm squeezing in yoga sessions, coffee dates, trips to the beach—basically anything that will make me enjoy life a little more!

Basically, I’m giving in to the whole “work hard, play harder” mantra. I’m kinda finding it weird that this mentality takes more conscious effort on my part? Maybe it’s because I don’t really have weekends or office hours to think about as a freelancer? I don’t know. Haha, I’m confused (so please let me know in the comments if this is just me!). Either way though, I’m going to keep making sure I do something fun and just live a little more in the days, weeks, and months to come!

What about you? Any summer goals you’d like to tell me about? ♥

  • Jhake o.

I promised myself to spend more quality time (playtime and story-telling included) with my daughter. She’ll be going to a summer school and on June, to a formal school. I’m not used to being away with her even for just an hour. I’m sure i’m going to miss her even if it’s just a two hour class so i’m determined to make this summer super fun for her before she starts to go to school.
Ms. Nicole, i think you are lucky that you have more control of your time than employed people. Enjoy the sun, let the wind blow your hair and flaunt that sexy body! Happy Summer!

    • Aww, sounds like a nice way to bond with your daughter <3

  • Camille said baby belly is extra/stretched muscle daw? Is that true?
