I have a lot of products that I’m testing out this month…and it’s driving me crazy! Because I don’t know where to start, I thought I’d show you what’s on my lineup. This way, you can leave a comment and decide which ones you want me to review first. The (beauty) power is yours!
First up: L’Oréal La Palette Nude in Rose and Beige (P800 each) and Color Riche Lipsticks (P400 each).
I also have a moisturizer and eye cream from French brand, Nuxe.
My fave skincare brand! I also have to test the rest of the Perricone MD No Makeup Makeup line, but I already reviewed the foundation here and here.
Did you know that the Pond’s BB+ Cream is the number one BB cream in the country?
Learned lots of beauty trivia at a blogger lunch that Pond’s hosted for us. Say hi to Unilever’s Cesca and Zo, and Jane of flatsandstilettos.com.
The biggest surprise I learned from the event is that only 15% of Filipinas actually use makeup—and then complain about darks spots and an uneven skin tone. Most Pinays still use baby powder as their “foundation” and I know this is true because I’ve seen girls do this in the powder rooms at the mall! If only they were willing to try all the easy beauty solutions out there to score flawless, glowing skin.
A big reason why Pinays don’t put on makeup is because they’re in a rush. Well, no excuses now! The Pond’s BB+ Cream is an all-in-one solution for your skincare dilemmas. P.S. Keep reading until the end! I’m giving away all the Pond’s products you see here!
I’ve always been a fan of BB creams because it’s sooo easy to use and it saves me a lot of time. Unfortunately, a my go-to Korean BB was causing me horrendous breakouts so I had to stop using it (read about that here). Ever since that happened, I decided to stop using BB creams…
…until now! I was in a horrible rush and needed my skin to look fresh. See the Pond’s difference? I got an instant, radiant glow. I like to slap on the BB cream with by pressing my fingers all over my face for easier, even blending.
I’m happy to report that after a week of using Pond’s Flawless White BB+ Cream, I noticed that my the dark spots lightened up. But because my skin really reacts to BB creams in general (*cries*), I’ll have to pass on this formula. I’d use it every day if I could though! I like that it has SPF30 already (Unilever’s beauty guru, Agoo Bengzon, also mentioned that this is the new minimum for sunscreen) and that they now have a new, darker shade in beige. A huge win for girls with darker skintones!
Love BB creams? Pond’s and I are giving away these beauty goodies!
