Have you heard of this trend yet? Non-touring is a more natural and subtle way to sculpt your face (because apparently, people are sooo over contouring now). Basically, it’s like a no makeup look that’s spiked with some major highlighting. Here’s my take on it:
I super love this trend, and apparently, it’s a fave look of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid! I really like how it adds more dimension to my face in photos and that it’s pretty glam without being too cray, you know? Although I’m enjoying the cool and cozy weather in Manila (it’s rainy season!), I don’t want to give in to its gloomy feel. One of my tricks to adding more happy vibes into my life is by accessorizing with bright, inspiring colors…and you can usually spot ’em on my face and nails!
NARS Dual Intensity Blush in Panic and NARS x Christopher Kane Lip Gloss in Mezmer. P.S. I’m sooo in heart with my iPhone case! My Aunty Cristina got it for me since it’s the colors of my blog <3 Thanks, Tita!
I’m on a polish hiatus, so my hands are staying happy with my bright iPhone case (it really puts a smile on my face whenever I see it!). But what I’m even happier about is this blush duo! I usually layer a bronzer + pinkish blush, so having these shades in one compact makes it so much easier.
Swatched! The two blush tones are quite pigmented. Was disappointed that the gloss was a lot more sheer.
Let’s talk about the NARS x Christopher Kane Lip Gloss first. I guess I shouldn’t fault it for being so sheer, since the shade is described as “sheer neon watermelon” on the brand’s website. It’s true to what it promises, but I think it’s too expensive for a gloss that doesn’t really create much impact for me (unless you’re into collecting limited edition makeup).

I love getting a tan, but I never go under the sun because the UV damage is never worth it. That’s why I just like to create a faux glow by applying a hint of bronzer on strategic areas of my face. Watch the video I did for BDJBox.com to figure out where they are:
I like to go for a light and subtle application when it comes to bronzer, so my skin won’t look too orange or splotchy. If you’re a newbie to using this makeup technique, I suggest you go for a bronzer formula that isn’t long-lasting like what I used in the video (it’s TonyMoly Crystal Blusher in Sugar Brown 05, P328).I really reco this blush because it’s matte, easy to apply, and blends like a dream (read: it won’t stress you out while you’re mastering your bronzer skills). Tip: Don’t worry if you accidentally put on too much! You can easily sweep off the excess powder with this beauty hack!
Do you use bronzer during summer? What’s your favorite? ♥

Have you guys seen Taylor Swift’s new music video, Shake It Off?
I’m a Swiftie all the way and I’m inspired by all-things Taylor from her style to her hair (read about that here). In the video above, I LOVED her beatnik-inspired look that came out at around the 1:44 mark.
So gorgeous! I have to copy this!
If we analyze her look, it seems simple and straightforward enough. But it’s the details that’ll help you pull it off fabulously. Here’s what I did:
Time to play!
