Review: Laneige Time Freeze Eye Serum

During the last quarter of 2015, I had a lot of trouble sleeping. I was going to bed at like 2 a.m. and waking up at 8 a.m. Needless to say, it was horrible and my undereye area was definitely suffering.

And this was my savior!! The Laneige Time Freeze Eye Serum, P2,500.

And this was my savior!! The Laneige Time Freeze Eye Serum, P2,500.

Prior to using this, I was loyal to these two eye creams (see them here and here). Unfortunately, I noticed that the Estée Lauder one I was using had reached its peak and that it wasn’t doing anything for my skin anymore. So I made the switch!

If you want to reduce the sunken-eye look and lighten your dark circles, keep reading! I’ll talk more about the results I got after the jump! Continue reading

What’s Your Favorite Eye Cream?

I’m in the market for some awesome eye creams, so I decided to ask for a few recos on my Facebook account. Click here to follow Beauty & Sparkle on Facebook!

Top recos from some of the beauty experts, bloggers, and brand managers in the country. I now realize that there are a lot of (credible) beauty addicts on my account. Haha!

Top recos from some of the beauty experts, bloggers, and brand managers in the country. I heard that the Olay Regenerist Eye Cream (recommended by Ampy) is a fab bargain buy!

As for me, the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Eye Serum (got it at Rustan’s) worked wonders for me before. But after about 5 years of using it, I think my skin has become immune to it (boo!). I switched to Philosophy’s Full of Promise Restoring Eye Duo For Upper-Lid Lifting and Under-Eye Firming. This one is a winner for upper lid firming, because I noticed my skin became more taut when I’d apply my eyeshadow. The cons: It’s not as effective for plumping up your undereye area or banishing crow’s feet and it’s not available locally just yet.

These products are great, but I'm still searching for "the one" now that my peepers need more TLC.

And so my quest for the best eye cream continues. I think I’ll research more about the Lancôme eye creams that Frances, Jigs, and Liz recommended.

Do you use eye cream? What’s your favorite brand? Suggestions please! ♥
