New Hair…Kinda!

After waiting for months, I finally got an appointment with my love, Jing Monis. Oh my gosh, he’s so in demand—but always sooo worth the wait! I’ve been itching to cut my hair because the length was just too much for me to handle already. Guess I’m really a short hair kinda girl now.

The peg: a toned-down version of Khloe's light brown, ombré style for summer! My hair won't look like this yet, but that's what we're planning on doing—if I don't get tempted to cut it short again. Haha!

This was supposed to be my hair peg for the summer, but it’s way too hot in Manila—and I don’t have the time to blow dry my hair every day! Read about my past cut and coloring adventure here.

So...snip-snip! Into the stylist's chair I go. I'm so happy!

Now here’s the struggle for gals with colored hair: maintenance! My color turned a bit brassy and the ends were super dry. I’d stay away from chemical treatments at this point to help my hair recover, but I have lots of big events coming up. To lessen the damage, I just had my roots retouched…but Jing had a better idea.

"After leaving the color on the roots for 10 minutes, I comb through to spread it until the ends," explains Jing. "This allows it to blend beautifully with your old color while removing any rusty tones. The best part? It's less damaging on your strands."

After any chemical processing, I always make time for a treatment. Tried the Keratin Infusion Treatment (starts at P1,550) and my hair feels much softer now.
