What I’m Testing Now!

I have a lot of products that I’m testing out this month…and it’s driving me crazy! Because I don’t know where to start, I thought I’d show you what’s on my lineup. This way, you can leave a comment and decide which ones you want me to review first. The (beauty) power is yours!

First up: L'Oréal La Palette Nude in Rose and Beige (P800 each) and Color Riche Lipsticks (P400 each).

My fave skincare brand! I also have to test the rest of the Perricone MD No Makeup Makeup line, but I already reviewed the foundation here and here.

I finally had time to sneak in a mani-pedi. And oh dear lord, I feel like a human again! Haha, pretty colors on my tips and toes just make me feel so happy and confident. (Leave a comment if you agree!)

I was thrilled to see this color on their roster because I’ve been seeing a lot of mint green in the latest S/S 2016 makeup collections. I don’t know if I can apply that color on my lids (like they did here with NARS), so I’m glad I get to incorporate this trendy beauty shade here on my digits.

I’m really a sucker for black and white nails! They really make me feel more confident and chic, so I had to go with this look for my Benefit Beauty Bash!

Of course, I couldn't resist adding a hint of sparkle, too!

And of course, I couldn’t resist adding a hint of sparkle also! P.S. Take a closer look at the stones! I made sure they went from big to small for a little more oomph.

I had my mani done at my fave place, I Do Nails, and it didn’t really take too long to do—just like 15 minutes more than your regular mani. If you want to cop this look, any black and white nail lacquer will do. The only trick is to use a thin brush (try an old eyeliner makeup brush) to outline the cuticle area for the black polish. It’ll make clean-up a lot faster!

Today’s Nails: Summer Edition!

I finally had time to get a decent mani yesterday, so I decided to have a little fun!

Isn't this just perfect for summer?

Isn’t this just perfect for summer?

The last time I had nail art done, it was a play on negative space. I’m still not over this nail trend, so I decided to experiment by playing around with more colors this time.

Here's a closer look at my nails. Love, love, love the happy colors!

I had ’em done at I Do Nails Eastwood and it only took about an hour—mostly because I had trouble figuring out the best color combos to use.

Today’s Nails

I finally had time to get my nails done! I’m so excited about this post because the polish that I got to try was from an eco-friendly brand called Jenna Hipp.

How cool are her polishes? The five free formula means it doesn't contain the five toxins that are usually in nail colors like formaldehyde resin and camphor.

Pretty cool, right? The five free formula means it doesn’t contain the five toxins that are usually in nail colors like formaldehyde resin and camphor. The official website here!

I love following Hollywood celebs and their glam team. Jenna Hipp is actually one of Tinseltown’s most sought-after nail stylists (she’s a real person—haha!), so it’s only natural that she created her own line.

She's painted the famous digits of Lea Michele, Jennifer Lawrence, Michelle Williams, and Sienna Miller.

Okay, so here’s the dish on what I tried:

My friend, Alyanna, knows I love nails and got me this as a belated Christmas present. Thanks, Alyanna <3

The back of the box is so fun! I love that she shares tips! The polishes are also five-free. Hurrah for no toxins!

The Jenna Hipp line actually sells at Costco (it’s like S&R in the Philippines). When I checked though, the box I got isn’t available anymore. But don’t cha worry—Ms. Hipp’s got a new collection of bright colors that are just as amazing and you can check them out here.

When I went to I Do Nails in Eastwood, I was choosing from these three. The shades (L-R): Better Late Than Never, Throwing Shade, and Ooh La Latte.

It was a toughie! When I was testing them out, all of them looked great on my digits. But I am so happy with the shade I chose since it makes your hands look fresher and brighter!
