Sunday Sparkle

I have been a grumbling grumperson over the past few days. I’m just being a brat about something super inconsequential, but that thing that happened? It did kinda make me spiral into an “ugh” kinda mood that’s been challenging to shake off.

So thank you, Universe, for sending this little not my way via @galadarling's IG.

I don’t want to be an old fool in any way, shape, or form. So *deep breath* I shall focus on all the good things, detox my brain and body…and start writing about 5 things I’m grateful for every night before I go to sleep for one whole week. And if I don’t feel too self-conscious about what I jot down, I just might post my list on Snapchat, too. Follow me via @beautyandsparkl to take a peek! ♥

Sunday Sparkle

It's time.

It’s time.

The haunting shadows of a love lost. The break that could’ve been yours. The devious way a friend betrayed you. The times you didn’t listen to your intuition. All the little things that nag you about how you could’ve been better, chosen better. Let them all go. Forgive yourself. Breathe. Be free. ♥

Sunday Sparkle

I’m a sucker for videos like this. Watch it—and prepare to get a little teary-eyed!

What do you see when you look at the mirror? I hope you take the time to train your eyes and change your inner voice, so that you only see what’s beautiful. And remember…

You truly are.

Wishing you a week full of love and sparkles! ♥

I’ve always loved this quote. I didn’t realize it was an actual poem by Erin Hanson until last night. It reads…

There is freedom waiting for you,
On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask, “What if I fall?”
Oh but my darling,
What if you fly?

Here’s to a week of taking beautiful chances. ♥
