I know I’ve been MIA lately. Can I make it up to you?
Join me on Friday, March 10, at Rustan’s Shangrila for the L’Occitane Reine Blanche Skincare Workshop!
They gave me a plus one, so I get to take one of my lucky readers with me! Basically, we’ll just geek out over the products and learn lots of fresh techniques on how to keep our skin bright and glowing. Plus, you can grill me about more beauty tips if you want! Hehe!
Shopping at the L’Occitane store at BGC Central! This was the first time I actually got to try the Reine Blanche line back in 2015 (read more about my faves from this French brand here and here).
If you want to join, just leave a comment on my Instagram page (click here!). I’ll be announcing the winner on Thursday morning, so make sure you join ASAP! ♥
You guys! I’m going to have another workshop next Saturday!
The theme? Mastering your own beauty! Text 0917-8018080 to reserve your slot :)
I’ll be working with pro makeup artist, Bambie Carlos, and she’s going to work you guys through perfecting your day-to-night makeup looks. As for me? I’m going to be spilling all of my skincare secrets! There will be surprises, beauty raffles, and a few freebies that you’ll be able to take home, too. Here are the deets:
Master Your Own Beauty Workshop Date: May 21, 2016 (Saturday) Time: 1-4 p.m. Venue: The Healing House, Wack Wack Village, Mandaluyong Workshop Fee: P2,800 *We have limited slots only, so reserve your spot by texting 0917-8018080 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We designed this skincare and makeup workshop to be fun, interactive, and focused on y-o-u! We want to help you feel more confident in your own beauty, so Bambie and I will give you personalized tutorials that will help you highlight your assets and make you feel more beautiful. Bring all of your products (skincare, makeup, brushes) and we’ll teach you how to maximize your loot and what color combos will work well with your skintone.
I’m super looking forward to getting a chance to hang with my sparkly readers and answer all of your beauty questions. And trust me–you guys will love Bambie! She’s such a pro at making everyone feel like their prettiest self! Hope to see you guys next Saturday! ♥
Are you guys doing anything on Saturday afternoon? Drop by SM Makati and let’s talk makeup!
There’s no need to register! Just drop by and we’ll have a beauty-filled afternoon. P.S. A little birdie told me they’ll be giving away fab freebies at the event, too!
And because we’re so excited for the workshop, we’re also giving 5 girls a chance to win a K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow Pen. It’s a cult-fave and it’s one of the beauty products I can’t live without! The mechanics are super easy:
Leave a comment on my IG and tell me what your biggest eye makeup dilemma is, so I can talk about it at the workshop.
Big BONUS points if you also subscribe to my YouTube channel (click here!).
You can also leave a comment here with your IG name—it’ll make it easier for me to track your entry. *This contest is open to Philippine residents only. The winner will be informed via Instagram on November 13, 2015 (Friday).
I really hope to see you, my sparkly readers, on Saturday! Message me on Instagram or leave a comment at the bottom if you’re dropping by. And remember, don’t be shy to talk to me at the workshop! I really want to meet you all! ♥
Hello, my sparkly loves! I’m just checking in to gab about some of the fun stuff that’s been happening lately and events that I’m looking forward to (you can win tickets to one of them since it’s Freebie Friday!). Check them out:
Numero Uno: Workshopping With My Gal Pals
I love learning new things and sharpening my skills. Instagram has been one of my pet projects lately (follow me via @beautyandsparkl). You’ll notice that I’ve been sticking to a white theme lately, because my blog coach (Hi, Martine!) has urged me to take better photos and is pushing me to improve my visuals. Have you noticed? Do you like it? I sure hope so—I’ve been working really hard at it!
That’s my friend, Nikki! We were trying to be the smart & snooty classmates—but it obviously failed! We’re just happy and bubbly always ;)
It’s always fun to be with your girls when you take a class. Nikki joined because she just launched a new clothing line for kiddos (visit Honeycombkids.com.ph to check out the cute outfits!). I already bought a shirt for my nephew, and wish I had a niece I could buy dresses for. Haha! Either way, this is going to save me a lot of time during Christmas! I think I’ll just order all my presents online and have it delivered to my friends’ houses.
That same week, my favorite mommy blogger had a workshop for Philosophy! Say hi to Frances of Topaz Mommy!
Like I’ve said before, there’s always something new to learn when it comes to beauty. Frances shared that one of the best skin tips she learned is to always use sunscreen every single day. Nikki’s is to drink lots of water because it’s the best beauty elixir. “Not drinking enough makes your skin look dull and dry,” she says. “Healthy skin is well-hydrated skin.”
Haha, love my girls! We all used to work for Summit (F was EIC of OK!, Nikki was the fashion & beauty editor for OK!, and I was the resident Cosmo girl!). I’ll always be grateful for that job because it brought fabulous friends into my life. <3
Numero Dos: Add Me On Snapchat!
Yes, I caved. I actually downloaded the app (twice) and deleted it (twice) months ago. My brain couldn’t understand (or rather, didn’t want to understand) what was going on. But after a few friends convinced me that it was a fun way to share behind-the-scenes stuff, I caved. So tune in via @beautyandsparkl for lots of unfiltered fun!
Just posted my first Snap (?!). Take a peek at how messy my desk really is by Friday! At least, I think I posted it. Hmm, let me know if it’s not there! LOL
So I hope you guys will follow me via @beautyandsparkl!! And if you’re a Snapchat pro, do help this tech-challenged lady out and show me some tricks to make it easier!
Numero Tres: Beauty Sale Alert!
Eye makeup is always fun to splurge on. The only downside is that it can expire quickly (mascara’s three months guys) and you have to throw it out if you get an eye infection or something (it happens). That’s why I’m super excited to start hoarding this October!
It’s all about the eyes, right?? Goofing off with fellow beauty blogger, Marj! So happy I got Kendall <3 Hehe!
Can you guys guess who’s having the huge sale? Find out after the jump! Continue reading →
Have you guys met Macy yet? She’s an awesome girl with many talents: She’s the managing editor of Candymag.com, she makes delicious cupcakes (click here!), and she’s also the creative editor behind Polished! The Nail Art Book. I’m super lucky that I got to team up with her for my Sparkle Session: A Nail Art Workshop because she’s such a pro!
This is at the OPI Nail Art Event—practicing our skills for the Sparkle Sessions. Can you spot the hyper photobomber?
Did this in under 20 minutes! I just wanted a quick stripe initially, but I saw a sparkly bottle of OPI polish. Of course, I had to add it!
