Now you can bedazzle your arches (and face!) with different kinds of Swarovski crystals with the Benefit Bling Brow, P1,400.
Here’s a look at the basic designs and crystal hues you can choose from at the Benefit Brow Bar. If you don’t want to buy the whole kit, you can have have them done there P200 to P700 (price depends on the design). The rose gold color is my fave!
Of course, it looks cool in the photos. So how about we take a peek at what it looks like in real life? And on real people?
Say hi to cutie Ira of Femalenetwork.com! This design is called Touch of Bling. It’s three crystals that highlight the start at the arch of your brow and tapers down to the tail.
One of my fave beauty bloggers to hang with! Dior Co also opted for the Touch Of Bling design, but placed it above her brow. Love how you can get creative with your bling.
The always glamorous, Rorie of Hola! magazine. She’s got on the Big Time Bling design, which goes on top of your actual brows.
As for me, I went for Over The Top Bling! There’s an art to the application process, actually. Begin with the biggest stone at the start of your brow, then a medium-sized stone over the arch, and end with the smallest stone at the tip of the tail.
To complete the OTT Bling look, just fill in the gaps with more crystals. They’re actually different in size, so you can actually make it follow the shape of you brow so it tapers off. It’ll look more fab and balanced that way!
Brow guru and Benefit Cosmetics’ International Spokesperson for Global Services, Jared Bailey, dished on lots of easy, brow-tastic tips. Will share his brow mapping techniques on the blog soon!
Totally had fun playing dress up with my fellow beauty bloggers. I want that tiara! Would totally wear that all the time if I could.
Of course, I played around with the bling when I got home.
In my opinion, the Benefit Bling Brow can bring out a more street chic kind of style. Enhancing that edgy vibe by pairing it with a side braid to rough it up a notch.
I actually went to a work-slash-dinner meeting in Shangri-La mall afterwards. And yes, my brows were all dressed up. Did I get lots of double-takes? Definitely! I didn’t feel self-conscious though. I think it’s just a great way to add more personality to your look. You can totally wear them anywhere!
Now for a few parting tips:
Build Your Foundation. Benefits brow guru, Jared Bailey, suggests that you shape and fill-in your brows before you do your bing. P.S. He’s super cute and funny! Wish I got to take a photo with him :(
Sticking ’Em On. The Benefit Bling Brow can last up to three days and it’s re-usable. Just keep the crystals and stick them on clean, dry skin with lash glue the next time around.
Careful With Your Fingers. I didn’t realize how much I scratch my brows and pushed my bangs out of my face. I hit the crystals a few times, but they didn’t fall off. Yay for not having to chase them all over the floor!
I shall bid you adieu with these Bene hunks! Thanks for a fun afternoon, Benefit Philippines!
What do you think of the Benefit Bling Brow? Would you give them a try? ♥
