What’s On My Desk

I can’t believe I’ve been away for 4 months. I’ve missed our beauty talks, you guys! How is everyone? I have sooo much to tell you about my European adventure, but for now, let’s talk beauty! There’s so much to review!

Current desk situation and the current products I’m testing.

There’s a good mix in there from makeup goodies to fragrances. I’m going to show you the products up close, so you can leave a comment and tell me which ones you want me to review first. Ready? Let’s do this!

First up: Laneige Two Tone Shadow Bar, Lip Bar, and Water Sleeping Mask.

First up: Laneige Two Tone Shadow Bar, Lip Bar, and Water Sleeping Mask. I totally need to use this mask, since the colder weather has been making my skin so dry.

As y’all know, I’m a huge fan of Korean beauty products—and Laneige is one of my favorites! I actually brought these two makeup products with me (but in different shades) when I went to Europe. The Lip Bar was amazing because it’s like two colors in one tube (it’ll save you some space in your kikay kit!). But the Shadow Bar? It lacked pigment and was way too shimmery for me. I’ll give this batch a try though—hopefully this collection will be better.

Have you guys heard of EMK Beverly Hills? Apparently, they use botanical placenta in their products!

Normally, I’m iffy about trying new skincare products. I couldn’t resist giving this a try though, because Carla Abellana (she’s one of the hottest local celebs in town!) personally told me that she’s been using this. She sent me a face cream, a night cream, and a toner. Hopefully this can help my skin get back on track after all the traveling!

So fancy! Thank you to Jo Malone Ph for the fab fragrance sampler!

So fancy! Thank you to Jo Malone Ph for the fab fragrance sampler!

If you’ve been dying to layer Jo Malone fragrances, now’s your chance! Rush over to their counters and grab this gift set while you still can. They included the 3 new scents that they launched this year, so it’s also great way to try them without feeling too guilty. P.S. The new colognes included are Basil & Neroli, Minosa & Cardamom, and Wood Sage & Sea Salt. Meanwhile, the classic scents are Lime Basil & Mandarin and Pomegranate Noir.

Last set! The Kracie All in 1 Mask Sheets and Happy Skin's Glam Squad Eyeshadow Duo by Mickey See.

Last set! The Kracie All in 1 Mask Sheets and Happy Skin’s Glam Squad Eyeshadow Duo by Mickey See.

I am addicted to face masks, so having 42 sheets in one handy pack is pretty darn convenient! This brand is from Japan though (I usually use Korean masks), so I’m curious if this will work just as good. As for the Happy Skin Glam Squad palette, I’ve been using this for the past week and it’s actually nice for the office. You have to blend both shades and an eye primer to boost its lasting power, but I’ll dish more about this (and the contour palette underneath) soon!

And that’s it! Have you guys tried any of these products yet? Or is there something that you’d like me to review first? Leave a comment and let me know! ♥

  • I want a review of the EMK! And I can’t help but notice the mug and the French lessons. C’est l’amour!

    • EMK = So far, so good! And yes, French lessons!!
